Traxxas has just announced it’s new vehicle this year, the Traxxas Rally 1/16 VXL. The Rally VXL is now the third 1/16 scale vehicle in Traxxas’ RC Car lineup.

One of the outstanding features of the Rally VXL, as with all new Traxxas vehicles is that it’s a 100% waterproof RC Car.

The Rally VXL looks a lot like the other 1/16 scale other vehicles when the top is taken off. The bumper is more heavily padded, the springs shorter, and the wheelbase shorter. For quite some time there’s been rumors about a car to replace the 4-Tec. It was rumored that the vehicle would be 1/8 scale and be the first to use a waterproof 1/8 scale brushless system, but perhaps it will be a while longer before we see the 1/8 scale waterproof truck.
