Dremel Tool

The Dremel tool can be a hobbyist’s best Friend. For me it became my best friend when cheap screws lost the slits for the driver to be place into them. With the dremel tool I was easily able to cut new ones. When you get a diamond tipped attachment they’ll cut through just about any metal. I’ve used the tip not only for cutting new slits but also for completely cutting a nut in half in order to take it off after it had lost it’s threading.

Dremels come in two flavors- Corded and Cordless. From my experience you’re best off just going with the cheapest option available. All of the attachments seem to be universal so if you loose the $15 dremel you still have the $50+ in attachments. You may think differently if you’re going to be using it daily or something.
